The first step is to cut your felt into a rectangle approximately 6" by 14". Then set is aside.
Next cut four pieces of ribbon to 5" each and gently sear each edge of the ribbon with a lighter or candle to avoid fraying. If you've never done this before, simply run the edge of the ribbon across the flame and you'll see it melt just a bit. If you hold it too long in the flame you'll catch the whole ribbon on fire so be quick :) I found if you're using a candle, even just bringing it near the flame starts to melt it.
When you are happy with the way everything is pinned, then you can go ahead and sew it on there.
** Just remember to open the fabric before you sew it, don't keep it filed up or you will sew it together and it will no longer be a pocket!
When you have finishes sewing the velcro and the ribbon, then you can sew up the sides to form the pocket. And that's all!!
